Are you an experienced technician with a background in maintaining and repairing industrial or heavy equipment? We are seeking a skilled Field/Shop Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, power tools, and be proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintaining and repairing industrial or heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and power tools.
- Familiarity with OEM guidelines for equipment maintenance and repair.
- Ability to operate forklifts, manlifts
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of repairs.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Duties:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial waste and recycling equipment, including electrical systems and hydraulics.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
- Complete necessary documentation for repairs, including work orders and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete repair tasks in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on equipment.
Qualifications:
- Clean driving record with ability to obtain a CDL.
- Previous experience in maintaining and repairing industrial or heavy equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and power tools.
